Geoffrey Spencer-Smith joined the Gillen De Alwis team in early 2019 and has become an integral part of the Property Team. Having schooled at Haberdashers’ Aske’s Boys’ School, Geoffrey went on to study Politics with Economics at Loughborough University. Following a decision to move into the legal industry, Geoffrey completed his Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL) and Legal Practice Couse (LPC) qualifications at University of Law, Moorgate.

Geoffrey works on a range of matters in the Real Estate and Commercial Property department, with a particular focus on Bridging Finance. The insight that Geoffrey provides, benefits from experiences gained working outside of the legal sector, through previous roles in investment banking and the creative design industry.

Respected by his clients and colleagues for his diligent method of working. Geoffrey’s ability to understand a client’s objective, how it fits into the wider context, and how best to achieve it means that he delivers a comprehensive service to his clients.
