Shehani de Alwis is a Co-Founding Director of Gillen De Alwis Solicitors. Shehani has over 15 years’ experience specialising in real estate and both individual & corporate immigration. With an extensive background in residential and commercial real estate, she advises on all aspects of property work to include large-scale developments across the UK. With an extremely diverse and far reaching client base, Shehani has worked on a variety of property matters ranging from leases, lease extensions through to sale and purchase of properties for high-net worth individuals and has assisted in the management and development of their property portfolios.

In addition to property law Shehani is an outstanding business immigration lawyer, Shehani is a specialist in Tier 1 (entrepreneur) and Tier 2 (skilled migrants) visas and work permits. Over the past decade, she has provided clear strategic immigration advice consistently achieving successful results for her clients which has earned her an exceptional success rate.
