Full Time Property Commercial & Residential Solicitor

This well-established, modern, and forward-thinking London-based law firm is currently seeking a Commercial and Residential Property Solicitor in its busy and expanding team and operations, working remotely and from our office hub in Islington.

You will:

Job Description

 Job Title: Property Commercial & Residential Solicitor  Experience: 4 years + PQE
 Department: Real Estate  Reports to: Director

 Purpose of the Role/The person 

  • Undertake fee earning work in the commercial and residential sale and purchase department and to administer all aspects of conveyancing work on behalf of the client and the firm.
  • Manage and lead your own caseload within high volume excellent quality conveyancing.
  • Utilise your entrepreneurial flair and enthusiasm for business development to consistently meet internal standards and targets set by the business.
  • Be professionally qualified and experienced Solicitor/Licenced Conveyancer with at least 4 years PQE, capable of working unsupervised, confident, and a leader in the work you are undertaking.
  • Have an existing professional network in north London

Working relationships

Director – The Director oversees the work of the team and works with the postholder as a Conveyancer within the team if required. You will be required to attend a one of one monthly meeting with the Director (your manager), this will give you and your Manager the opportunity to talk over any matters or developments which may affect you.

Clients and referrers – You will have daily contact with clients, referrers and third parties e.g. suppliers and virtual members of the team. You will also have contact with clients with whom we have working relationships, you will be expected to act in a way which upholds these relationships, and which conforms to any service level agreement we may have with a particular client.

Qualifications

  • Solicitor with 4 years PQE

4 years PQE preferred however someone with a proven track record and strong experience will be considered

Knowledge

All aspects of commercial, residential and lending property work

Experience of case management systems, in particular LEAP, Perfect Portal, InfoTrack, ECos preferable but not essential as training will be provided.

  • Experience of leading and managing a high volume and varied caseload to an excellent standard, for both residential and commercial property transactions without supervision
  • Successful at creating and maintaining effective partnerships with clients and third parties
  • Proven track record in business development, building a network of clients and referrers and able to demonstrate track record of acquiring/driving new business opportunities
